Rawlings 2001 All-Star Game Baseball
American League: 4, National League: 1. Tony Gwynn is named an honorary member of the National League All-Star Team. Cal Ripken Jr. starts the game at shortstop at the request of Alex Rodriguez and hits a home run in his first at-bat for the AL. Ripken is named MVP. Gwynn and Ripken retired at the end of the season.
