The Highland Mint is licensed by the NHL to mint the 24KT Gold overlay 2009 Commemorative Coin. The Coin is minted with the Dueling Red Wings and Penguins logos on either side of the official 2009 Stanley Cup Final logo and the reverse features the high relief Stanley Cup! Each coin is individually numbered on the edge and measures 1.5" (39mm) in diameter. To preserve the 24KT Gold overlay Coin each is protected in a custom acrylic capsule and displayed an a black suede jewelry box.
