COLTS ENDZONE-The Indianapolis Colts, 2009 AFC Champions, are playing in in Super Bowl on February 7 from Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL.  Super Bowl XLIV  puts the Saints against the AFC Champions, Indianapolis Colts.  While 10 Super Bowls have been played in New Orleans, this one will have more meaning to Saints fans than all of those put together  because this time, it’s their team that has reached the summit.   Now, Game-Used Super Bowl XLIV Sod is being made available through Stadium Associates from Sun Life Stadium the actual sod on which this historic game is played.  Fans will be able to own an encased, freeze-dried, preserved piece of the Saints black and gold end zone.
For historic reference, this will also be the first time a Super Bowl game was played on game worn sod; the same field used for the Pro Bowl which is being played the week before at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, FL.
Each section of preserved sod measures 3 x 3 and includes a card with the Super Bowl XLIV logo, NFL hologram, a photo of the field during the game and facts about the game, displayed in a UV glass case.
