Reggie Jackson did it all during his 21 seasons in the Major Leagues. He won a regular-season MVP award, two World Series MVPs, four home run titles, and was named to 14 All-Star teams. He also led teams to five World Series championships in the 1970s which earned him the nickname “Mr. October.” His efforts landed him in the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993 and got his jersey retired by the A’s (#9) as well as the Yankees (#44).

Reggie joined baseball’s 500 Home Run Club on Sept. 17, 1984 as a member of the California Angels when he homered off Bud Black of the Kansas City Royals. He finished with 563 home runs during his career; a total that now stands as No. 11 on baseball’s all time list (he was No. 6 when he retired).
